But instead, they're focused on the bottom line, which is very sad. But I'm glad you have a great vet -- they are worth their weight in gold and are much more rare than gold is!HotFlashHomesteadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05894953352910455222noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7721756258546233776.post-65306115646817382372015-12-31T05:50:47.335-08:002015-12-31T05:50:47.335-08:00I don't think there is a pet owner who cant re...I don't think there is a pet owner who cant relate to this! I always get it from the techs because I make Barbie's food. They can see that her eyes are bright, her coat is gleaming, and she interacts more like a primate than a canine, but they still act like I'm poisoning her and am a bad owner! Oh and I also get it because I use apple cider vinegar instead of frontline! The horror. Luckily my vet himself always defends me and basically tells the techs to put their teeth away. sorry Sputnik had to endure the car ride! I know a stressed dog in the car makes for a distressed driver! To me, that said he wasn't looking at me with dollar bills in his eyes! Nice that your new vet is ethical and cost-conscious, too. It certainly makes visits less worrisome.HotFlashHomesteadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05894953352910455222noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7721756258546233776.post-82823013094575663002015-12-29T18:28:06.042-08:002015-12-29T18:28:06.042-08:00I requested bloodwork on both our dogs this year b...I requested bloodwork on both our dogs this year because they are almost 9 years old and I felt it was the right thing to do. The vet who purchased the practice I've gone to forever seems to be suggesting lower cost alternatives to medications, something I really appreciate. Animals....we love them and they can be so expensive to keep. And the worst I have found for always selling selling was my previous dentist. I found a new one in a much less fancy office.Denise at Autumn Skyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00229028926029898680noreply@blogger.com
