But I will miss her, she was a very mellow, friendly-yet-independent hen.HotFlashHomesteadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05894953352910455222noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7721756258546233776.post-45478884401450274052015-04-01T18:01:15.432-07:002015-04-01T18:01:15.432-07:00Thanks Molly. Thanks for the encouraging words, too, I always tend to "Monday Morning Quarterback" myself and think about what I *could* have done. But yes, she did lead a very nice life here.HotFlashHomesteadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05894953352910455222noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7721756258546233776.post-11695339563803946962015-04-01T16:35:36.137-07:002015-04-01T16:35:36.137-07:00I'm so sorry to read this! I also hope her good pal Ellen is doing alright in her absence.Stephen Andrewhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00657698116552267561noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7721756258546233776.post-36361661838269237392015-04-01T15:14:49.235-07:002015-04-01T15:14:49.235-07:00I'm so sorry to hear about Portia. I'm sure she had a wonderful life at your homestead. I hope the other hens remain in good health. I know they are in good hands.Mollyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17282039481061418510noreply@blogger.com
