Wow. What a stark contrast to the photos I posted shortly after this post! Your town looks so beautiful. Are there a lot of tourists this time of year? I would think you are inundated with people from the Midwest/Great Lakes/New England!
Actually February is one of our slowest months at the winery, which tells me there are NOT a lot of tourists around. Typically it is known as our rainy season, although that probably only means a few days out of the whole month, but it seems to be enough to scare a lot of people away. It's sad, because high season -- summer -- is hot and brown and we definitely are not at our best then, in my opinion!
If I posted pictures of my town, you probably wouldn't be able to see much for all the snow!
I used to love the snow in my younger years. I was an avid cross country skier and actually prayed for snow. Now that I can no longer ski, I would be happy never to see snow again.
