Barn Quilt project is FINISHED!

They got hung up today.  I have enjoyed making them and am still making two more for the winery at some point, but right now it's just time to sit back and enjoy the fruits of my labor, with much thanks to Big Ag and Groceries for hanging them for me.  We had our first 80 degree day today and took full advantage of it. Cant' wait until the beds are all filled with lovely vegetables, right now it's just onions and some lettuce in the bed to the far left. But soon the garden will look as colorful as the wall.

  1. Those are so beautiful! Love the garden as well. Our raised beds are covered by hoop tunnels which are covered with snow! However, it's supposed to go up to 35 degrees today and we haven't been above freezing for a long time. Feels like a heat wave!

  2. Oh Molly, that is SO cold. I'm kind of hypocritical about the cold, I love cold weather before the holidays and often lament about how it doesn't snow here, but once it's out of January or so I'm damn glad it starts to look like spring. But I guess there's no place in the country that only snows in November and December lol. Stay warm and I hope you get some signs of spring soon!

  3. Haha-Molly, I was out in shorts and a t shirt when it was 25! Felt like 60 to me! And as you know living in the midwest, I wasn't the only one! We all get a little crazy come March.
The barn quilts look so so so good. I love how vivid and striking each palette is. They really relate to each other beautifully. They look perfect!

    1. Thank you! I figure I'm just letting my hippie freak flag fly a little with these quilts. I think my gardening spaces should be fun and funky, since I'm never going to achieve Martha Stewart perfection (her gardens really are amazing). Glad you are getting some "warmer" weather, at 25 degrees I'd still refuse to leave the house haha.
