Interesting!
Here's a great chart of some of the food corporations for and against GMO labeling. Some of the ones against it surprised (and disappointed) me. I really hope the labeling law passes in Washington State and that it produces a domino effect in other states. If you love the idea of GMO food, that's fine. But everyone has a right to opt out from it if they wish to.

It's funny I have an aunt and cousin who visit from Washington every year and the environmental and political things they're talking about don't seem to make it to Ohio until 5-6 years later.
ReplyDeleteI feel that way living in CA, too, it seems like we pass laws that later domino across the country over the following several years. I think it's a west coast thing. Most of the laws are great but occasionally a silly one gets passed and then it's embarrassing that it started here, haha!
